Four months ago I picked up these lenses and frames from zennioptical.com. I liked how they looked and they were fairly cheap.
I put them down last night on the counter and they fell off. I picked them up and there was a deep scratch on the right lens. The frame also got scuffed. They were less than $70, so it is not a huge loss, but still.
I looked at their website and no lens or frame repair is available.
When it comes to making products I feel that more companies should follow a model that promotes the long term use of their goods. We need to move on from this single use mindset to one that is more environmentally sustainable and consumer friendly.
